Hydration & Coconut Water

Our bodies are going to lose lots more water this week as as bodies sweat to cool us down. Carry a reusable water bottle and keep filling it up all day, especially if breastfeeding as we already need extra water anyway. Take care in the heat and keep your energy up by staying hydrated.


Coconut water is a great refresher as it contains natural sugars and electrolytes. Coconut water also helps boost collagen production which is great for wound healing, so if you are postnatal this will be great to help heal your body! You can drink it on it's own or use to make smoothies for a lovely refreshing drink on these hot days. Try our Grapefruit Juice recipe below, it's delicious.

Grapefruit Juice

  • Coconut Water
  • Pink Grapefruit
  • 1 Tsp Ginger Purée

Blitzed in a juicer in 2 minutes.
