Join us at Eastwood Park in Hasland for our wonderful Buggy Fitness sessions, our sessions are a safe and effective way to get your body moving after having your little one. Your postnatal healing will always be considered in our workouts, we can help you lose body fat, feel stronger and get fitter with baby snug in their buggy.


We focus on core and pelvic floor work throughout the class to get you a stronger and flatter stomach.

The sessions run on:

Mondays: 10.30am-11.30am.

Thursdays: 10.00am-11.00am.

Fridays: 10.30am-11.30am.

Postnatal Exercise Information - Buggy Fitness

  • The sessions start with warm-up intervals and mobility exercises, we then increase the walking pace and work to intervals to increase the heart rate and burn fat. 
  • All exercises are kept safe with low-impact whilst you build up your strength.
  • We strengthen and tone your whole body with moves like squats, lunges, tricep dips, modified pushups etc.
  • Work on your core and pelvic floor safely throughout the class for a stronger and flatter stomach.
  • The session ends with a cool-down and some gentle stretches / releases. 


How long after giving birth can I join the session?

For a natural birth at least 6 weeks with agreement from your GP that you are safe to exercise. For a c-section birth at least 12 weeks with agreement from your GP that you are safe to exercise. It is essential that you have had your postnatal check-up with your GP and completed our health form before attending any sessions. 


What should I wear for the session?

  • Go with the weather and always wear comfortable layers as we will get warm during the session.
  • In colder weather wear a hat, scarf and definitely gloves.
  • Good trainers or walking shoes.
  • A supportive sports bra.
  • Layers for you are best so that you can strip off if you need to. I'd go with a long sleeve bottom layer now the weather has turned.

What should I bring to the session?

  • Plenty of water.
  • An extra layer/blanket for baby/toddler.
  • A rain cover and/or sunshade. A rain cover for a wind break is a good idea.
  • Sun cream.
  • Drinks / snack for baby / toddler.
  • Baby's  / Toddler's favourite comforter or toy.
  • Everything you would usually leave the house with for baby.

Does the session run if it's raining?

Yes, wear comfortable layered clothing that will keep you dry in the event of rain and that you can remove if you get too hot.

Remember to bring your buggy rain covers.
