Nurture Fitness - Postnatal Exercise

Postnatal Exercise in Chesterfield designed for MUM and BABY.

 

Nurture Fitness is for mums and babies under 8 months, we use baby massage after the fitness to bond and connect with baby. Performing baby massage with your little one in the first months is fantastic for baby's development as well having lots of other benefits for baby and you.

 

Each 90 minute session includes 45 minutes Fitness for Mum, 30 minutes Baby Massage and 15 minutes Social Time with the other mums. 

 

We workout to intervals to burn body-fat and build strength for daily mum life with safe postnatal exercises, using weights and resistance bands. We incorporate core and pelvic floor exercises into the workout which helps to repair and strengthen a weakened pelvic floor and core.

 

The classes are suitable for all fitness levels and any postnatal issues will always be taken into consideration when planning the class and providing options.

What's included in the session?

How soon after giving birth can I start Nurture Fitness?

For a natural birth at least 6 weeks with agreement from your GP that you are safe to exercise. For a c-section birth at least 12 weeks with agreement from your GP that you are safe to exercise. It is essential that you have had your postnatal check-up with your GP and completed our health form before attending any sessions.
